HaYovel's Zion's Sake Team will be at Beacon Baptist Church, 320 W. Pine St. in Central Point on Thursday, May 17, 6:30 pm. The Zion's Sake Team educates people to the critical needs of the small independent farmer in Israel. A video presentation of their work in Israel will be shown. Admission is free, however a love offering will be taken.

Paintings by Len Dickson will be available for viewing at the Eagle Point Branch Library during open hours through the month of May. Eagle Point Branch Library is located at 239 W. Main St. Mr. Dickson currently works in oil, acrylics, and watercolors. His subjects are largely landscapes from Colorado, California, and Oregon.

Botanist Barbara Mumblo will present a program on noxious weeds of the Applegate Valley and southwestern Oregon on Friday, May 18, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm, at the Applegate Branch Library, 18485 North Applegate Rd. A resident of the Applegate Valley and a botanist for the Siskiyou Mountains Ranger District, Ms.

Kidder Creek Camp in Etna, CA,  is providing exciting programs for grades 2-12 this summer. Camps run Sunday through Friday, all summer long. Ride a horse, raft the Klamath River, swim in the pond or challenge yourself on the high ropes course. The caring staff is here to invest in your child through Christ centered ministry.

The 2012 Rogue Valley Youth For Christ Golf Challenge will be held at the Eagle Point Golf Course, Saturday May 19. This event features a four-person scramble with 7:30 am and 1:30 pm shotguns and banquet seating at 6:00 pm.

Auditions for Teen Musical Theater of Oregon's production of "The Music Man", will be held on Monday, May 21 at the Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater. These roles are for teens age 9-19. The Smullin Education Center, 2825 E. Barnett Rd. in Medford is hosting a month long conference on Death and Dying. May 22, 1:30 pm and 7:00 pm, the topic will be 'Your Advance Care Plan-A Mini Workshop'. Each conference is free, however a $10 tax-deductible donation is requested to help cover costs.

The Ashland House of Prayer, 188 Garfield,  will host its 2nd "Converge Summer Intensive". This internship is designed as a focused period of time in which we pursue God and challenge ourselves to go deeper into His Heart!
